Looking for information on medical services in Niagara? Check our Frequently Asked Questions for information that might interest you. The Thorold Family Medical Centre is a Family Health Organization providing services for patients from all areas in the Niagara Region including St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, Pelham, Niagara on the Lake, Port Colborne, Lincoln, and other surrounding areas.
The Centre will provide patient services in a new model called a Family Health Organization (FHO). This is a capitation system where the doctors get paid a fixed amount for looking after each patient rather than a “fee for service” system. Because of this new system, patients who use the services of any other walk-in clinic will cause us to be penalized by approximately $35.00 for every visit theymake. While we realize that on occasion this may be the simplest option for a patient, we may be forced to de-roster patients who make repeated visits to other clinics.
Chiropractic services are provided at the Thorold Family Medical Centre by Dr. Christopher Zuliani. Traditional chiropractic treatments are used along with many newer Rehabilitation techniques including Shockwave, Spinal decompression, Active Release (ART) exercise, ultrasound, strength training, interferential, TENS, et. Gait Analysis and Orthotics are also provided using the latest in computer technology. Phone 905-688-2420 to schedule an appointment for Chiropractic Services.
